ELA Textbook Adoption for Grades K-5

Smyth County Public Schools will be holding a public viewing and opportunity for public comment on a new English Language Arts textbook adoption for grades K-5 from Thursday, April 18, 2024 until Friday, April 26, 2024. Please visit your student’s elementary school during normal hours to view and provide feedback on the proposed materials.

Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You can click the link below to view the flyer or contact the elementary school of enrollment for additional information.

SCS Traffic Safety Program

Smyth County Schools will begin an automated school zone speed enforcement program to increase safety for students, parents, teachers and anyone else traveling through the school zones. Please see the attached release for additional information.
